Horse chestnut is considered a natural supplement. It is often associated with diosmin, aescin, and plant alkaloids, as well as blueberries and raspberries. These are products that are purported to improve vein health by strengtening vein walls. Vasculera is FDA approved for vein treatment orally but there are no other supplements that are FDA approved or have been shown to improve vein health. Vasculera has specific indications primarily for chronic venous insufficiency and not for varicose or spider veins.

It only helps with pain or swelling and is not an effective varicose vein treatment or remedy.
