Tiny veins still visible after redness has cleared

I still see the tiny veins and the redness gone. What's the point of the treatment if one treatment did nothing?

I assume you are talking about sclerotherapy injections for spider veins. I make it very clear, verbally and in writing, that an area of veins could take 3-5 treatments. However, you should also be evaluated for feeder "reticular" veins below the surface, which also need to be addressed. Normally, a special light called transillumination is used to see below the surface.

Because it takes several treatments to see the results you desire.

The smaller the vein, the harder it is to treat. Sclerotherapy or topical laser for very small veins usually takes several treatments. I tell my patients that sclerotherapy is a process and may take 3 to 5 treatments, each spaced 6 weeks apart to achieve results. You should also note that this treatment is not permanent and that some veins will always recur and some new ones will grow over time.

I've had three sclerotherapy treatments done this year, with the last session about one month ago. I still have noticeable areas on my legs. I was told the treatments haven't been effective because the problematic veins are too small. Would Veinwave work better? If so, how long after sclerotherapy do I have to wait before having the procedure?
