Dr. Joseph Magnant, Dr. Patrick Nero and the Vein Specialists team of professionals are the premier outpatient comprehensive Vein evaluation and treatment experts in Southwest Florida. Drs. Magnant and Nero are board certified surgeons, 100% dedicated to providing their patients with the most cutting edge technology for the diagnosis and treatment of their venous disease. Dr. Magnant founded Vein Specialists in 2006 in Fort Myers and subsequently expanded to Bonita Springs/Naples in 2014 due to the high demand for their expertise. Dr. Nero joined the practice in 2016 and offers the same high quality patient care as Dr. Magnant in the Bonita Springs office location. With two fully staffed offices including Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners and Registered Vascular Sonographers and a well-trained clinical and administrative support staff, Vein Specialists serves patients from Sarasota to Marco Island.
Vein Specialists relies on state-of-the-art ultrasound evaluation by Registered Vascular technologists to formulate a logical treatment plan for patients. Dr. Magnant added an outpatient angiographic imaging suite in 2017 to provide their patients intravascular ultrasound and venous stents for pelvic venous congestion and iliac vein compression syndrome. Vein Specialists has served as a training center for physicians around the country interested in learning venous ablation techniques. Our outpatient approach, with minimal oral sedation and use of local anesthesia, allows patients to avoid the risks of general or regional anesthesia, intravenous sedation, and other hospital-related inconveniences and ensures efficient treatment and nearly painless quick recovery.

Vein Specialists staff feels more like a family with a very personal approach to their patients and they strive to make patients feel as comfortable as possible during their office visits. Patients are the main focus of their attention and every possible consideration is extended to patients to expedite their initial consult, diagnostic ultrasound and eventual definitive treatment.
