What happens if you get a pulsing/tingling feeling in your legs? I've been wearing 30-40 compression stockings for 2 weeks.
I've been getting "movements" in my legs like tingling, pulsing. I started wearing 30-40 compression stockings (without prior consent from doctor) and I'm wondering if that's causing it. I stopped wearing the hose for 3-4 days now. Could this be nerve damage?

My first question is: Why did you choose to wear a 30-40 mmHG compression stocking? Unless you have a history of a blood clot, venous stasis or lymphedema, this isn't warranted for daily wear. Secondly, were they correctly measured and fitted by someone experienced in doing so? Poorly fitting hose can cause problems. Typically, these are prescription-strength hose and should be ordered by your doctor.
