After DVT detection, when is it recommended to continue rehabilitation for a soleus and gastrocnemius tear?

I had a calf tear (multifibrillar on soleus and external gastrocnemius) and a big hematoma (9 x 6 x 3 cm). One month later, a DVT was detected on the gastrocnemius vein in the same leg. My question is, when can I return to the rehabilitation program for the tear?

I'm trusting you are on blood thinners and wearing a compression stocking if OK with your physician. As to when you can return to rehab, this will be your doctor's decision. Consult with him or her to receive clarity on this.

Between 2011-2013 while I was 23-25 I was diagnosed with 3 DVTs at different times. After the third I was prescribed xeralto for life and told to wear compression socks. After 4 years without an issue I took a job in a warehouse which requires me be on my feet 8-10 hours a day. Now I've noticed my legs are very irritated from what I think is heat rash from compression socks. Is there a way to help this? Or should I consider finding a job involving less standing/walking?

I had a blood clot 4 weeks ago in my leg and lungs. I'm on Xarelto. I was feeling 100% until this past Monday, when I went and shot some hoops by myself and ran up and down the court. I did so pain-free, but when I got home my ankle, foot and calf became really swollen. It has been 4 days and it hasn't gotten better. No pain, but am concerned. Is this normal? I already have a visit with my GP next Friday. Should I try and get in sooner? Thank you.

I have reached out to my provider. They said 4 to 6 weeks before it returns to normal. Color is still off especially when I am on it. I have no idea how to care for my leg. Just had hysterectomy April 13 which led to the recent clot. I just need to know the to do's and not to do's. I will see a hematologist June 8th, but I need help now.

I have a clot in the GSV 2 cm away from the SFJ in the left leg. I am on anticoagulants; maintaining an INR between 2.5 and 3.5. Is it enough to prevent DVT? Can I drive an automatic gear car? In the sitting position, is the blood flow through the femoral vein enough? What positions should I avoid? While lying on the bed, should I keep the pillow under my legs continuously?

I had contradictory advice from different vascular surgeons. One stated that the blood when running goes up really fast in the veins and that wearing stockings could create skin problems. I have femoropopliteal DVT (diagnosed 5 months ago) and use class II thigh-high stockings. Again, here some suggest knee-high instead.

The bleeding stopped on its own. I have since developed a DVT in my calf muscle. I have been on Xarelto for 24 hours. Because of a blood thinner concern which might start the GI bleed again, the new suggestion is to switch to a NSAID from the Xarelto. I know I am in a catch 22 but I question the effectiveness of an NSAID for the clot. I am seeking an alternate opinion and other possible solutions given both conditions. Thank you.
