I tell my patients that they can return to full activities usually within 2 weeks of a closure procedure. Over the years, I have had many patients return to vigorous exercise within 5 to 7 days of the procedure. If the vein was adequately closed, then returning to full exercise should be possible as soon as you feel well enough to do it. Listen to what your body tells you as everyone is different.

You do not mention how long ago your treatments were. If very recent, I have my patients back off heavy abdominal exercise including heavy weights. Also bicycling due to possible injury. However they are able to gradually return to their normal activity level of the the 7- 14 day period. If you are further away from your treatments you should be able to do the exercises your describe providing your surgeon agrees.

I advise waiting one to two weeks after your procedures to begin these types of activities.
