Is it normal to have bloating after treatment for pelvic congestion syndrome?

I had a bilateral ovarian vein embolization done 6 weeks ago. I've had so much bloating since my procedure. Is this from the embolization? When should it go away?

Bloating can occur after treatment for PCS and could take six weeks to resolve.

It could well be. Give it a couple of months to settle down.

Embolization of your pelvic veins including your ovarian veins should not cause bloating. I suspect a different etiology for your current bloating and would consult your primary care physician

Researching the literature, I was unable to find any relationship between the procedure and bloating.

I'm not an expert on this matter. I would suggest you consult with your gynecologist.
