If am on a birth control pill (Ortho Tri-Cyclen). can I still undergo sclerotherapy?

I have heard that it is not safe to be on birth control pill and get sclerotherapy done, but I need to get this done, and I can't stop taking the pill!

The issue is not safety. The issue is that there is a higher rate of hemosiderin staining with birth control.

Should be safe to proceed. You may be at slightly increased risk of deep
vein clots, so just make your physician aware of your medication history and
avoid having any large varicose veins injected. If you have only spider
veins you should be ok.

I do not routinely stop BCP with sclerotherapy. Very Very rare cases of bloodclotting have occured with these injections and birth control pills but they have also occurres without them.
Overall this is a very safe procedure, when done properly.

Taking oral contraceptives is not a contraindication for sclerotherapy. However there are some reports that suggest an increase incidence in hyperpigmentation (stained skin) and on neovascularization (new spiders) in patients who underwent sclerotherapy while taking birth control pills.

Although you are at a slightly increased risk to develop superficial or deep vein thrombosis, there is no contraindication to having sclerotherapy while on oral BCP,S. There is a reported increased incidence of matting(fine vein formation) occurring.
