I have a large blue vein under my right eye that I'm finally ready to get rid of. I'm not sure if this requires a plastic surgeon or vascular surgeon.

Maybe neither. Vascular docs won't touch it usually, and plastics may or may not. A phlebologist (vein specialist) would be a good place to start.

Vein specialists take care of these as they may require combination therapy. Microphlebectomy, sclerotherapy, thermal coagulation, cosmetic laser, etc. Expect to pay approximately $2000 per eye.

Some vascular doctors do this, as well as dermatologists and plastic surgeons.

I have some kind of 'V' shaped vein on my forehead. It's apparent when I laugh, smile or perform other facial actions. A surgeon performed one treatment of sclerotherapy and vascular laser (on the same day). There have been no significant changes. Would dermal fillers be appropriate? What about surgically stripping and ablating the vein?

These veins get worse in the heat. They really pop then. Part of what caused them is that I used to wear hats and bandanas a lot. Even during excessive and hot yoga. I think it blocked veinous blood flow that was trying to drain from my head. Is there anything I can do about this?

I am 40 years old, and a healthy size (5'4", 117lbs). In the past few years, the network of veins in the center of my forehead has become very prominent. They bulge constantly, and I see them in the mirror, photos, etc. It seems I have thin skin. The same is true on my hands, front my shoulder and neck. I know this is a delicate area (face/head), but is there anything I can do to reduce the size of these veins?

My under eye veins are dark blue/purple, around the undereye and have been there since I was a child. They are painless, but very dark and noticeable. I've read on laser treatment and other options. What procedure would be best for these kinds of veins? How much would it cost without insurance, and what would the end result be? Thanks.

I had small thread veins in my face treated over a month and a half ago. The thread veins/mild rosacea (veins/redness no spots) was tested with the small microwave needle injected. The veins scabbed up and fell off in a couple of weeks but I’m not left with pink blotches over the areas and also some veins still darker than before. Will this fade and go away or do I need to do something to sort things?
