I am having bilateral ovarian vein embolisation to treat PCS. I am 26 with no children, will this impact my ability to conceive in the future?

I have had two unexplained miscarriages and not been able to conceive over the past two years since last miscarriage. Could PCS be a reason for these difficulties, given no other cause has been found? If so, could embolization improve my ability to conceive?

My treating IR also found left renal vein compression between SMA and aorta and believes this to be the cause of my PCS and enlarged retroperitoneal veins. I suffer chronic pelvic, left flank and lower back pain.

There is no definitive evidence linking PCS to infertility.I recommend having a discussion with your IR. Renal vein compression may augment the PCS but PCS is usually bilateral and compression does not explain the symptoms on the right side, unless your veins are only affected on the left.
