Can soreness after Venefit procedure be permanent?

I had the Venefit procedure four weeks ago for varicose veins (saphenous vein). My CEAP score was 2. I am still feeling soreness on the inner thigh. It has improved, but the soreness is still there. The vascular surgeon did an ultrasound 8 days after the procedure and there was no DVT. Will this soreness ever go away? I never had leg discomfort before the procedure unless I was standing for long periods of time. Now my leg is sore all the time. Surgeon said it will go away. When?

No vein procedure should have permanent pain. I too believe it will go away soon.

One leg had a very small vein. After a closure and 2 stents, I have nerve pain, new veins, abdominal pain, and can't stand up/walk upright. The closure was 11 months ago; 7 months with swelling and pain in shins. The nurses treated me and last saw the doc 5 months ago. I feel betrayed that he told me new veins "happen" and I would have to pay for cosmetic treatment. I am worse off, tired and believe the 2 stents were unnecessary for a "valve" problem in one leg. I was not shown the US either.
