Is there treatment for reflux in great saphenous veins only upon standing?

Since pregnancy in 2015, I have hx of pelvic congestion (recently embolized) and mild May Thurner's w/o DVT...my legs are the greatest source of my pain, and despite very obvious veins throughout my legs (including squiggly veins from buttocks down the thigh and swelling behind both knees), I was told that I have reflux only upon standing in my great saphenous veins. I wear compression hose every day (and still have pain), and was told there is no other treatment specifically for my deep reflux
I have been diagnosed with bilateral deep system reflux/deep venous insufficiency, is surgery an option?

I have been diagnosed with Bilateral Deep Vein Insufficiency, I am not even 40. In addition, I have incompetent saphenous vein at the saphenofemoral junction because of reflux at saphenofemoral junction. My surgeon says there's nothing to do but wear compression stockings. What does this mean for me? Can I work, should I work? Is it life threatening? He had no answers and I am scared. I requested referral to Mayo Rochester to a phlebologist.
What is the cause of my ankle swelling and pain when walking?.
Chronic Venous Insufficiency Care - 6 months ago2 answers
My right ankle began to swell 2 months ago and is painful to walk on. Seen by orthopedist and podiatrist. MRI and x-ray are normal except for fluid accumulation. Venous surgeon did a duplex sonogram and found GSS-AK-P with rfx 1677, diameter 6.7. GSV -AK-M Rfx 699, diameter 5.4. and SFJ Rfx greater than 500. The left leg has GSV -AK-M, Rfx 958, dianerter 4.4. He said he could ablate the vein but it may or may not help the ankle. He didnt seem to know what to do. What is likely the problem?
Am I a candidate for EVLT surgery?

I am a 32-year old male with lower extremity edema, venous stasis, non-healing ulcers, a hypercoaguable disorder, and NIH obesity class III. I also have severe reflux of both my deep and superficial venous systems as well as chronic post thrombotic changes of my left femoral vein. Also if I have the surgery, what is the worst possible outcome? Thank you for your time and expertise.
